Smoked Turkey Legs with Habanero Mango Sauce

Ingredients

Turkey Legs

Dry Rub

Habanero Mango Sauce

Preparation

  1. Preheat your smoker at 250°F;
  2. In a bowl, combine all Dry Rub ingredients; Brush the turkey legs with olive oil then season both sides with the rub;
  3. Place the turkey legs in your smoker and toff a few wood chunks onto hot coals for smoking; Cook for 1h to 1h30 or until the interior of the meat reaches 165°F on an instant read thermometer;
  4. In a saucepan, combine all Habanero Mango BBQ Sauce ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes;
  5. Brush the turkey legs with habanero mango bbq sauce on the last 15 minutes.
