Bold & Smoky Beef Ribs

BBQ Sauce

Additional Equipment

Wood chunks for smoking, preferably hickory

Spray Bottle


  1. Preheat your smoker at 225°F;
  2. Brush the beef ribs on both sides with the El Yucateco Black Label Reserve Hot Sauce then season with garlic powder and black pepper;
  3. Place the ribs in the smoker and cook for about 8 hours; Combine the apple juice and cider vinegar in a spray bottle and spray the beef ribs every hour;
  4. Combine all BBQ Sauce ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 10 minutes;
  5. After 8 hours of cooking, wrap the beef ribs in aluminum foil and continue to cook them until the internal temperature reads 200°F on an instant read thermometer;
  6. Remove the ribs from the smoker and let them rest at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes;
  7. Brush the ribs with BBQ sauce and serve.
