Smoked Blueberry Crumble

Ingredients

  • 5 cup - Blueberries
  • 2 tbsp - Cane sugar
  • 1 tsp - Lemon zest
  • ½ cup - Brown sugar
  • ½ cup - Flour
  • ¾ cup - Oatmeal
  • 1 tsp - Cinnamon
  • ½ cup - Coconut oil
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional)
  • Applewood smoking chips

Preparation

  1. Preheat your grill for indirect cooking;
  2. Combine the blueberries, lemon zest and cane sugar in a cast iron skillet;
  3. In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, flour, oatmeal, cinnamon and coconut oil; Layer the crumble over the blueberries;
  4. Place the skillet over indirect and toss a handful of wood chip onto hot coals for smoking; Close the lid and cook for 30 minutes; Serve with vanilla ice cream (optional).
